Our dance classes for children who have special needs brings joy and fun not only to the student, but to our teaching staff and parents. “Miss Moe” (Maureen McManus) has been teaching dance to children with special needs for over a decade. All children love music and to express themselves through music. Dance is also great excise for all. We offer a no pressure environment with lots of individual attention where self esteem and friendships are fostered says Miss Moe.
Our program consists of 1 hour per week class; 30 minutes of Tap and 30 minutes of Jazz. Students will learn and perform 2 dances at Recital. Our annual recital is held on the first weekend in June at Spencerport High School. Students who also perform in our final dance will receive a trophy.
